Running 2011

Everyone should have goals.  A goal should be something that is challenging, yet achievable.  Something that a person can rise up to.  My running goal for 2011 will be to run 1100 miles which averages out to just over 3 miles a day.  I don't intend to run more than four days a week so this will definitely be a challenge, and feel daunting as I work to get my mileage up safely.  I will also have to start tracking my miles, which I hope to do in a manner after the previous post.

The "Runs" Part

So I'm getting back into running slowly.  Trainers tell you to make logs of your runs and record all the details: distance, time, time of day, how you feel, what you ate, etc...  I'm going to start off simple and just say "Today I ran."  And because I am a little late on the draw, I will also say that I ran Tuesday as well.  Gold star for two days this week.  YAY!

Cookies for the Camera

I wanted to play around with the new camera a little bit, and I was having a itch for some cookies, so why not?  Simple, oven hot Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies always hit the spot.  As you can see from the pictures I still have a lot to learn!


P.S.  Those cookies were a proposal and she said yes.

What I'm about

My goal with Runs to Eat is to get back to the things I love doing; running and eating.  I hope to share runs, eats, and perhaps even preparation of the eats.  As we just got a brand new SLR, you might find an abundance of pictures posted here soon as well.  Hope you Enjoy!
